This term one of our teachers read us a chapter of a book everyday. The book was called Hatchet and it was about a kid who had to try and survive. There is also a movie of it on you tube that we found and watched it. I wasn’t a huge fan of this book but if your into survival stories this is definitely the book for you. The kids name is Brian and he faces different challenges! Have you watched or read this book before?

This term the intermediates and some other schools painted a fish. First we had to do a sketch in our books. 

Today we got are free books. The books I got were Diary of a roblox pro and Pizza and taco. In the morning we all went to assembly and listen to one of the deputy principles about her passion in reading. Once we got back into class we got into a circle and got given books. Thank you to the government for giving us these books. So do you enjoy reading?

Today the whole school got to dress up in pink accessories for pink day! Pink day means kindness even though we should be kind everyday, today is a day we celebrate everyone’s kindness. So what are someways you can show kindness?

For RE this week we have made something on our chrome book about Saint Francis. We had to write about his legacy and quality’s.

For art we have been doing a draft piece of art in are topic book. The art is a wooden fish that we are going to paint. Before we can do that we have to finish are draft and put patterns on it. 

For reading one of our teachers have been reading us a book called hatchet. The book so far has been good, we have almost read half of it. The main character in the book is called Brian we had to imagine what he would look like and draw it out.

This last two weeks the year eights have been learning how to solve and simplify equations. Today Carys Indigo and I had to create a slideshow explaining algebra. This is the slideshow that we made.
